Come experience an uplifting day out above Dungiven, where the wide skies and rolling ridge lines of the Sperrins invite both movement and stillness.

Our journey begins along the American Road and then a steady climb to the ridge and summit of Benbradagh. This is one of the most striking peaks in the region, offering panoramic views across Dungiven, Lough Foyle, Donegal and deep into the Sperrin Mountains.

From the summit, we’ll return along the American Road to the ridge towards Boviel above the Glenshane Pass. Following this quiet off-track routes will invite in a true sense of remoteness and freedom.

This area is a fantastic introduction to blanket bog walking — an essential feature of the Irish uplands — with its rich textures, colours, and hidden wildlife. Walking here is less about paths and more about flow, exploration, and connecting with the land beneath your feet.

This is a chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and let the rhythm of the hills bring balance.
