Join Nuala on Wednesday 5th August 2026 from 6.30-9.30pm for a beautiful Sunset Walk along the Binevenagh Forest Trail.

As you step into Binevenagh Forest, you'll be embraced by the cool, fresh scent of pine and spruce trees. Birdsong will fill the stillness, providing a calming soundtrack as we begin our Wellbeing walk.

As we ascend gently along the trail, we’ll get glimpses of the majestic Binevenagh high above the tree canopy before revealing it’s full and mighty self as we step into the Nature Reserve.

Then on the other side, panoramic views of Lough Foyle, the flat farmlands and the distant hills of Donegal will be revealed. We’ll take some moments here to pause, to reflect and breathe deeply, letting the vastness of the scene quiet our thoughts.

Then as you make our way back along the forest paths, the rhythm of our walk and the calm of the forest will linger and leaving you with a sense of balance, connection, joy and clarity.

There will be 15 spaces and it is £10pp.

A basic level of fitness is required. Proper walking boots/shoes are mandatory.

A great route for beginners or anyone new to hiking or who is perhaps keen to get back out hiking.
