Join Nuala on Wednesday 6th May 2026 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on a Sunset Hike on Gortmore above Magilligan and Benone Beach.

It’ll be a rejuvenating experience that blends breathtaking scenery, fresh mountain air, and a deep sense of tranquility.

Our hike will begin at the Manannán mac Lir statue on Gortmore Viewing Point, where the ancient Celtic sea god stands tall, bronze arms stretched wide, welcoming the endless sky and wild Atlantic winds.

The evening adventure will follow the cliff’s curve with the sea below us and then on our return the Binevenagh cliffs in the distance will glow with the warm, slow fire of sunset.

Along the way, we’ll take a few minutes for:

🌿 Mindful Breathing – Letting the fresh mountain air fill your lungs, refreshing and energising you.

🌿 Quiet Meditation – Closing your eyes, listening to the wind, and feeling the deep stillness of nature.

🌿 Gentle Stretching – Releasing any tension and feeling the strength of your body.

As we make our way back to our cars, the journey will feel lighter and your mind clearer. You will carry with you not only the physical benefits of movement but also a renewed sense of balance, clarity, and appreciation for the simple beauty of the natural world and watching the sun set.

This is a low-medium level walk given the incline and the off-road terrain. Beginners welcome!
