Set off on a spectacular hike through one of Donegal’s most dramatic landscapes. We’ll meet in Derry at 7:30am (car-sharing encouraged) before heading to the trailhead at the atmospheric Leenan Strand.

This circular route is a real gem – a mix of bog road, ancient cart tracks, and open country that leads us deep into wild, remote terrain. Expect a challenging climb, but the reward is worth every step: sweeping views, rugged beauty, and the thrill of standing in a place few ever reach.

After returning to our cars, you’re warmly invited to round off the day with a refreshing sea dip at Leenan Beach – the perfect way to soothe tired legs and celebrate your achievement.
