Reiki (pronounced RAY KEY) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy and is a powerful form of hands on healing which was rediscovered in Japan at the turn of the century. Reiki Master Tina Allison has compiled an album that is relaxing and ideally timed for Reiki treatments. This album allows the practitioner to concentrate on the Reiki and ignore the clock.

Tina is a qualified Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, and has been working with Reiki since 1991. Reiki healing combines and enhances other therapies. Tina uses music to create the right ambience for the therapy room. The tone and harmony of the music expands the mind away from the harsh reality of life to a place of peace. Tina describes Reiki as 'the best self-healing therapy I have ever found', and a Reiki treatment as 'an influx of Universal Energy that encourages the patient to heal themselves'.

Tina is married to Pierre, and they have two children. Tina and Pierre run a highly respected Therapy Centre in Southampton, England.

This is mild music, meandering and continuous, with synthesised chords, background choral sounds and occasional guitar and other instruments all played at a slow pace. Although it is composed well and properly it is the sort of music that will melt into the background, so that you are more aware of restful sounds rather than 'listening' to it actively. 

It is timed ideally for Reiki treatments but can also be used for other therapies such as massage etc.

About Llewellyn
