How are you this week? I hope that June has began well for you.
We enjoyed a wonderful day on Muckish Mountain last Saturday and got to enjoy the splendid weather with stunning views in all directions. The photo above is from the top of Muckish looking out towards Errigal and the other Seven Sisters of the Derryveagh Mountains. Have a peek here at a little video I put together
I have been reflecting in my journal this week about how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful country and all the opportunities we have to spend and enjoy time in nature every day.
I find myself regularly in a state of awe and wonder with the mountains, the waterfalls, the forests, the coastline and so much more. I visited Glenoe Waterfallwhilst working in Larne last week and then Assaranca Waterfall with friends on Sunday. Wow wow wow! I wonder is there a word for Waterfall-Lovers? Let me know if there is ;).
On our Rise & Shine Program yesterday, I read a beautiful blessing from John O’Donohue called “For Presence”. The last last line of this blessing resonates with my thoughts and feelings and I wish the same for you:
“May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder”
Walking Adventures Coming Up
This Thursday night, I will lead a peace-filled Evening Zen Walk through Downhill Estate & Forest. An evening of connection, peace and relaxation with a short Guided Meditation, Forest Bathing, Herbal Teas & Chocolate. Come join me.
Then on Saturday, we return to Binevenagh Forest. This is a fabulous walk for anyone keen to get back out walking or even to begin. The Wellbeing Walk will be a beautiful slow and steady-paced linear hike up through this magnificent forest and below the Binevenagh Nature Reserve. You can find out more and book your place here.
And if you are planning ahead to next week and beyond, we have the following coming up:
Benone Zen Walk on Thursday 13th June.
Slieve Bearnagh Adventure on Saturday 29th June.
A Day on Rathlin Island on Saturday 6th July.
Come join me and let’s share in the awe and wonder of all the beauty we have on our doorstep.
Hope to see you soon. Sending you my well-wishes as always.
