I hope this message finds you well today on this the first day of May. Spring is in full bloom and summer is on it’s way!
New Beginnings
This morning was all about “Beginnings” as I opened up our 31 Day Mindful May Journey with a live meditation and journaling session at 5.30am. A new month - a new adventure - a new week - a new day.
I shared a quote this morning by Meister Eckhart - “Be willing to be a beginner every single morning”. There is power and a reminder for us all in those words in that every morning we have an opportunity to start afresh. When we open our eyes and take that first breath and choose that first thought - we begin again.
Inspiration is Everywhere
A recurring theme in my life over the last week has been inspiration. It has been everywhere!
From the group of Healthcare Professionals that I lead in a morning of self-care and team-building, to the training in Leave No Trace delivered by Hannah Shields - Northern Ireland’s First Woman to climb Everest, to the incredible group that hiked Slieve Binnian in the Mourne Mountains with me on Saturday. So so inspiring!
And inspiration works both ways. You too might be inspiring someone else when you are doing your best each day to live a healthier and happier life.

Guided Walks & Adventures
I captured the photo above on Saturday of our Walking Group as they all took in the stunning views over Ben Crom Reservoir. We had spent most of the morning surrounded by low cloud as we ascended and traversed Slieve Binnian. So to have this view on the descent was something we were all so incredibly grateful for.
Gratitude is an element that I try to bring into all our Guided Walks. Being grateful that our bodies can move, for the country we live in and for the connection with other like-minded people.
We recommence our Zen Walks this week with an evening walk at Downhill on Thursday. We then head up into the Sperrin Mountains on Saturday as we hike to the County High Point of Derry and Tyrone - Sawel Mountain. A spectacular hike! Come join me.
