With my 50th Birthday approaching in the Autumn, I gifted myself a wonderful 5 days away hiking a section of the Tour du Mont Blanc in France and Italy. It was incredible! Hopefully the photo above gives you a glimpse of a moment I had - sat by this stream drinking it’s glacial waters as I looked out towards Mont Blanc.
Living In The Moment
I have been reflecting on life a lot recently. Especially with the sudden passing of my dear friend and all round wonderful human being - Ellen Hastings.
Life is short and we have a choice to do what we can now to live and to love. When life tries to pull you forward or push you back, all we can do is do our best to return to the moment - to our breath - to our beating heart.

A Giant Day In the Sperrins
This Saturday, I will lead “A Giant Day in the Sperrins” setting off from Derry at 8am and travelling to the heart of Northern Ireland, the Sperrin Mountains. We will visit the three gentle and majestic giants along the Sperrins Sculpture Trail at Gortin Forest Park, Davagh Forest and the village of Cranagh.
