How are you doing? How was July for you?
When I last wrote to you, I was looking forward to a slower pace of life and work for a little while. Well perhaps work slowed down a bit but life and adventure seemed to have shifted up a gear.
July began with completing the Seven Sevens Challenge in the Mourne Mountains. A thrilling adventure that I am planning to do solo again very soon. I also squeezed in a few days in Galway and Kerry with my parents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Its always a joy to show friends and family places that I have explored and that I love to return to time and time again. There was not much hiking in the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks on this trip but I’ll be back again soon no doubt.
The month also saw me begin spending Mondays with my 10 month old niece Emily. My first #mondayswithemily blog post will be coming soon as I share with you snippets of our Monday Adventures together. We’ve been exploring a little bit of Omagh today so watch this space.
Our Guided Hikes and Zen Walks have taken us to Binevenagh, Cuilcagh, Downhill and then a fabulous Walking Retreat on Rathlin Island. Then over the last week we’ve been spreading a little happiness in the Ness Woods Country Park and the Urris Hills. We really do live in the most amazing country!
Guided Walks & Adventures
On Thursday evening we will return to Binevenagh Forest for an Evening Zen Walk. This is a fabulous opportunity for anyone new to hiking or perhaps anyone keen to get back out walking and connecting with like-minded people.
And if you are looking for an adventure, we hike Muckish Mountain on Saturday and Slieve Donard on the 19th. It would be great to walk with you as always so get booking here.
Sending you my well wishes for the week ahead and I hope to see you again soon.
Be well
