I hope February has began well for you. If I was to describe how it has began for me, I would say that it has been really grounding.
I captured the above photo just before sunrise on the first day of February whilst on route to our Saint Brigid’s Day Event at Downhill Estate & Forest. Such beauty and incredible colours to commence what turned out to be a really special day in wonderful company.
Earlier today, I lead a wonderful hike on Benbradagh above Dungiven. I love this mountain and the panoramic views on a clear day are really incredible. And whilst it was pretty cold today, we were blessed with the most wonderful sunshine and views.
I feel so blessed to walk these hills and mountains which I believe, together with my daily meditation and journaling, really helps me to stay grounded and connected.
Guided Walks & Events
Speaking of being grounded and connected, did you see Lo & Slo’s Oaks & Embers Nature Lovers Retreat on Sunday 16th February at Brook Hall Estate?
I am really excited to have been invited by Emily of Lo & Slo to lead an outdoor grounding and centring Guided Meditation as part this wonderful event.
It is going to be a really unique, sensory and culinary experience set in such beautiful surroundings. Book your place now and come join us!
And then something that I am so looking forward to……
“A Day of Connection & Celebration” on Saturday 8th March 2025 to Celebrate International Women’s Day.
It will be a day away for us that will include a sense-awakening Mindfulness Wellbeing Walk through an Ancient Woodland in Mid-Ulster followed by a light lunch at the An Carn Centre above Maghera and a visit to the beautiful shop next door.
After lunch, we’ll then journey onwards to the Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Bellaghy where we will join the REAL WOMEN BIG LIVES show hosted by our good friend and all round amazing human being, Ursula McHugh. Ursula will be joined on stage with Sheila Fairon, Dr Anne Tracey, Carol Doey, Liz Weir, Mary McGuiggan and Maura Johnston.
It will be a wonderful afternoon of connection, conversation, music, poetry, storytelling, dance and repartee and we will end the day feeling totally inspired, fully recharged and absolutely reconnected.
Book your seat on the bus from Derry now and enjoy an enriching and inspiring day away with me. I have everything booked and organised for you and will be your chaffeur for the day. Book here!
So many beautiful and wonderful things happening and I feel so so incredibly grateful to share and experience them all with so many of you.
Sending you my love and well wishes as always for the week ahead.
