Hope you are well as a new week begins and I hope that it is filled with possibility and opportunity. This was our focus this morning on our Rise & Shine Daily Meditation & Journaling Program.

In our meditation, I invited all the program participants to reflect on opening up to new opportunities - big and small - and to trust that opportunities will appear in perfect timing. And that we all have the courage to seize the opportunities that come our way. After all, opportunity is everywhere!

And speaking of opportunity, it was so wonderful to see a full house out on Binevenagh on Saturday and lots of new walkers seizing the opportunity to join.

I’ve been walking this mountain for 15 years and it always amazes me how I experience something new and different each time! Have a look here at a lovely reel I put together - the cows, the ponies and the goats all decided to make an appearance. Quite magical actually!

This Saturday, I’ll lead a hike up Donald’s Hill above Drumsurn and then on Sunday we’ll return to Banagher Forest. I am hoping that the paths are cleared following the storm and this will be my mission tomorrow as I do the Risk Assessment.

I’m really feeling that we all should take the opportunity to get to know the land, the hills and the mountains on our doorstep. This is important so that we can all protect it for future generations and at the same time inspire our young people to get to know it too.
