How are you doing this week? With the Spring Equinox on Monday and the clocks springing forward last night, I wonder what you will be doing with the "stretch" in the evenings? (Well - apart from saying it repeatedly in conversations over the coming days lol)
How could you "stretch" yourself physically, mentally or even emotionally this Spring? Spring is the season of growth and the time is now to step out of those comfort zones.
Comfort Zones has been a recurring theme in my Group Work and Wellbeing Program Facilitation to Community Groups and Corporate Businesses this week. All the old cliches have been coming out:
"If you aways do what you always did,
you will always get what you always got"
"If nothing changes, nothing changes"
"You grow through what you go through"
"There is no growth in a comfort zone"
So all that being said, I wonder is there an area of your life where you would like to see change or even experience growth in this Spring? What would be your first step towards this? What comfort zone could you challenge? Try it - you might just surprise yourself. In the words of Susan Jeffers "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway".

Guided Walks and Adventures
It's been a wonderful week of Wellbeing Walks and Guided Hikes. Thursday evening saw one of our Light Up Walks around the Roe Valley Country Park. Even though the rain was pouring down, I looked around at one stage and every face under those head torches was smiling from ear to ear. With the right gear and the right attitude, you can accomplish much!
Yesterday we set off from Limavady early in the morning on a walking adventure of Tollymore Forest Park at the base of the Mourne Mountains in Newcastle. Amazing!
We arrived in the rain and through the hike, the sky cleared and the sun came out. The views were incredible from the park boundary out towards Slieve Meelmore, Slieve Bearnagh (above photo) and Slieve Commedagh, under which we enjoyed lunch in the afternoon sun.
We are planning lots of Guided Walks and Adventures for the Spring and Summer - walks for all levels of fitness. Make sure to keep checking our Eventssection. And whilst our base mountain might be Binevenagh, we have a whole country and coastline to explore TOGETHER! As always, it would be lovely to see you and walk with you.
That is all for this week. Wishing you a good week ahead and Good Luck with stretching yourself and stepping out of those comfort zones.
Be well
