I hope your September is already bringing you fresh energy, inspiration and new openings.
We are settling in well to Week 2 of my Rise & Shine Daily Self-care Program.
I feel so inspired when I see people showing up to join me each morning for meditation and journaling. It is a fact that creating new habits is so much easier when you do it together in a group!
This morning’s focus was “Movement”. I asked everyone to reflect on what ways they love to move and stretch their body and whether we could invite in some form of movement every day?
How about you? What are your favourite ways to move your body?
It is no secret that I love hiking lol. But I also love the gym, yoga and cycling. And just last Friday, a friend and I got the Rollerblades on and cycled around Limavady. What a laugh. Exercise and movement is so much better when it is fun!
Guided Walks, Adventures & Days Away
We kicked off September with a thrilling hike on Binevenagh last Sunday.
I am always reminded of the feeling I have after a Group Hike. It is almost like an afterglow of achievement, connection and adventure that lasts long after the boots come off.
Next up is the unforgettable Urris Lakes on Saturday and then the peaceful Glenshane Forest & Mass Rock on Sunday. Book in now and come join me for some of that afterglow.
And speaking of glow, we recommence our Light Up Walks for the Autumn Season next Wednesday Night with a mindful night-time adventure along the Eglinton Embankment. A great introduction for anyone keen to explore night-time group walking.
We are then back to Dart Mountain Cheese on the 20th for our “Hike & Taste”experience in the fabulous Sperrins Mountains.
And for a bit of balance, our next relaxing and soul-nourishing day away is on the 21st. I’m excited that Janice Tracey Nutrition will join us again too by preparing a wholesome and delicious picnic lunch. Only a few spaces left on the bus so get one of the remaining spaces now.
Hopefully I’ll see you on one of these upcoming adventures — whether it’s for movement, mindfulness or simply good company.
Until then, keep shining!
